About Me…..
This is a little blog about me, Bear, the Brats, the Fur Babies, and our love of nature, fiber, and such.
The Players in my lil story are as follows:
Bear: DH is built like a grizzly bear. He is loving, supportive, compassionate, and very protective, just like a bear. When he puts his arms around you, you feel like a protected cub. I even call him Bear in public.
Stinkie: This is DD and has been her nickname since she was 4 mos old. This being my first child and I was only 19, I thought she had the nastiest poop and gas a baby could EVER have. I would call her Stinky when I cooed with her and everything. The name has just stuck ever since. We have had to make sure that the boy brats know that this is a loving name that only mom and dad can call her.
Boog: This is DS #1. He had really bad sinus problems, to include eczema and severe ear infections, when he was a baby. He had so many boogies that his upper lip was raw. We would have to keep Vaseline and stuff on his upper lip to keep it from getting infected and cracking. Bear and I started calling him our little Boogie and it has just kept with him.
Goob: This is DS #2. He was always drooling. You know, like a St. Bernard after drinking, and would chew on everything. We are also dealing with the fact that he has been diagnosed at a young age with severe ADHD and ODD. He is already on daily medication and in therapy. Since his diagnosis and medication, he has learned to write, count, sing, draw, and socialize.
